Choose the NVIDIA edition if your computer has an NVIDIA graphics card — it trains much faster on the GPU. The standard edition runs on any computer using the CPU. Both editions include Free and Pro; your licence key unlocks Pro.

Forge trains on your own computer and never uploads your data. Trained models are ordinary files in your models folder, and you keep every right to them.

Questions.

Do I need a powerful computer?

No. Small and medium models on tables and text train well on a normal CPU. Images and large models are much faster with an NVIDIA graphics card. LLM fine-tuning needs an NVIDIA GPU.

Does Forge need the internet?

No. Training, testing and exporting all work offline. The internet is only used if you choose pretrained image weights or download a base language model.

Can I use Forge for my company?

Yes, with a Pro licence. The Free edition is for personal and evaluation use.

Are predictions always correct?

No model is perfect. Forge shows validation accuracy or error for every model; check results before relying on them for important decisions.
